VE.Bus BMS / VE.Bus BMS V2

The VE.Bus BMS V2 is a Battery Management System (BMS) designed to protect and manage Victron Lithium Battery Smart 12.8V & 25.6V (LiFePO4 or LFP) batteries in systems that include Victron inverters or inverter/chargers with VE.Bus communication. It ensures safe operation by monitoring critical battery parameters and protecting against overvoltage, undervoltage, and extreme temperatures.

Key Features:

• Compatible with single or multiple Victron Lithium Battery Smart (12.8V & 25.6V) setups.
• Monitors and protects against:
  • Overvoltage and undervoltage of individual cells.
  • Overtemperature and undertemperature conditions.
• Generates a pre-alarm signal to warn of imminent cell undervoltage.
• Disables inverting in VE.Bus inverters/inverter-chargers and disconnects loads when cell undervoltage occurs.
• Disables charging in VE.Bus inverters/inverter-chargers and disconnects other chargers in case of overvoltage or extreme temperature conditions.
• Remote on/off terminals for flexible system integration.
• Can disable VE.Direct and VE.Can solar chargers via a GX device.
• Allows control of the VE.Bus inverter/charger from multiple devices, such as:
  • Digital Multi Control
  • VE.Bus Smart Dongle
  • GX device
• Includes auxiliary power input and output terminals to keep a GX device powered during system shutdown.
