Victron Energy 50A Buck-Boost DC/DC Converter

The 50A Buck-Boost DC-DC Converter is designed for charging a 12V or 24V service battery in vehicles equipped with an intelligent alternator. This converter is essential for ensuring proper charging of the service battery, especially in vehicles with Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines, which may not provide the correct charging current.

Features:

• Engine running detection system: Prevents deep discharge of the vehicle’s starting battery using a built-in engine running detection system, or can be activated via a programmable input (D+, CAN bus, or (+)15 connection).
• Fully programmable: Easily programmable through a user-friendly PC application (USB type A male to USB type B male cable needed).
• One product for various systems: Can charge a 12V or 24V auxiliary battery from either a 12V or 24V alternator and starter battery.
• Charge current and input current limiter: Output current is limited by maximum charge current, maximum input current, and operating temperature limits.
