Victron Energy Filax 2 Transfer Switch CE 230V/50Hz-240V/60Hz

The Filax transfer switch is designed to seamlessly switch sensitive loads, such as computers and modern entertainment equipment, from one AC source to another. The priority source is typically the mains, a generator, or shore power, while the alternate source is an inverter. With a rapid switching time of less than 20 milliseconds, it ensures that sensitive loads operate without disruption. This device is not intended for high-power household equipment like washing machines or electric motors.

Open Transition Transfer

The Filax functions as an open transition (break before make) transfer switch, with a maximum load transfer time of 16 milliseconds. The load is usually supplied by the priority source and is transferred to the alternate source if:

• The voltage of the priority source drops below the threshold value.
• The frequency of the priority source falls below or exceeds the designated thresholds.

Reverse transfer to the priority source is initiated when the priority source has maintained acceptable voltage and frequency limits for 30 seconds.
