The EasySolar-II 48/5000/70 MPPT 250/100 GX from Victron Energy is a multifunctional inverter/charger that combines all the features of the Multiplus-II with an external current sensor, optimising self-consumption.

The EasySolar-II GX guarantees uninterrupted power supply, whenever and wherever you are. When shore or generator power is limited, the unique PowerAssist technology allows you to boost total capacity by drawing extra energy from the batteries. The clear LCD display shows parameters for the battery, inverter, and solar charge controller, which can also be accessed via a smartphone or Wi-Fi enabled device.

The built-in AC transfer switch acts as an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS). In the event of a grid failure or disconnection of shore or generator power, the inverter automatically activates and supplies AC to connected loads within 20 milliseconds, ensuring sensitive equipment remains operational.

The charger features multi-stage and fully automatic operation, with a microprocessor-driven adaptive battery management system that can be adjusted for various battery types, including lithium. This technology automatically varies the charging process based on discharge patterns, ensuring optimal battery condition.

The integrated SmartSolar charge controller features ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and can harvest up to 30% more energy than PWM controllers in changing light conditions. With 99% efficiency and adaptive 3-stage charging, your battery is optimally charged with the highest available energy from solar input.

You can achieve virtually unlimited power due to the ability to connect in parallel and set up for 3-phase operation.

Please note: Cables are not supplied. For the DC (battery) connection, Victron recommends 70mm cable protected with a 200A mega fuse for run lengths up to 5m. Consult a qualified electrician for AC cable sizing and circuit protection.
