This EV Charger integrates seamlessly into the SMA Energy System, which includes a solar electric system with an SMA inverter. All components are perfectly matched and modularly expandable. The Sunny Home Manager 2.0 manages the charging process for your electric vehicle, ensuring surplus solar power charges your car instead of being exported to the grid. With the SMA Energy App, you can monitor all relevant system information from anywhere, and conveniently control the charging process via your smartphone.

The SMA EV Charger 22 allows maximum energy utilisation by starting the single-phase charging process at 1.3kW and automatically switching to the three-phase charging process as solar output increases.

Additionally, the SMA wallbox is compatible with third-party inverters when paired with a Smart Meter and the SMA Sunny Home Manager 2.0.
