Bluetooth module for monitoring and programming a solar charge controller through the mobile app

This Bluetooth module plugs into your solar charge controller to allow the controller to communicate wirelessly with your mobile phone or tablet. Using the free pairing app, you can connect wirelessly to monitor parameters ofthe solar charge controller (Tracer TR/ PTR, VS****BN, DM and MSC series controllers only).The pairing appcan also be usedto change charging and load settings of your solar system.

For models: PTR5415AN, PTR6415AN, TR8420AN and TR10420AN a separate extension cable is available which will extend the RJ45 port of the charge controller beyond the protective cover. For DM series a separate port adapter will be required.

The mobile app allows you to have full control over the charging process, andcan display various charging parameters such as voltage, current (separately for solar panel / load), battery state of charge, etc. It can alsostore accumulatedcharge anddischarge energy,as well as min / max voltage readings.

By adding this Bluetooth adapter to your solar charge controller, you will unlock a range of exclusive settings on the pairing app which give you far greater control over your solar system. With access to this vast range of charging parameters, you will be able to:

- Amend the battery type and capacity
- Select charging volts for different charging stages
- Specify the duration of each charging stage
- Create a user-defined battery type with charging parameters specific to your battery (if the pre-existing options are unsuitable)
-Personalise the 'load' settings - e.g. set timers for lighting, fans, pumps

The adapter features a communication radius of up to 10 metres.
